What a friendly conference. Welcome to the Math Ed Blog from incoming Vice Chair Kathy Shafer. I want to mention requests made in the SIG meeting. Math Education Technology Initiatives The 11th Annual AMTE Conference was held in Irvine, California this weekend – and the annual award for an exemplary paper on technology and teacher, jointly sponsored with SITE, was presented.

The reciplient of the award and other details of conference activities jointly supported by SITE and AMTE are discussed below. (Read the article)
